News and Updates for Our Community of Faith

- Pastor Jay will be in the office from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday and from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday.  Pastor Jay is  available by phone and email - 570-205-7506 and j80j84@msn.com. 

- The Worship Ministry Team will be meeting Monday night at 7:00 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend. 

- Choir practice will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, at 7:00 PM - we would LOVE to have you come and sing with us!!

- Input for the May edition of The Epistle needs to be sent to Janet Gomez at thezemogs@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 30th. 

- Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) will be observed on Sunday - May is MMIW month. We will be reading our Land Acknowledgement, have a special prayer and will read the Gospel from the First Nations Version, An Indigenous Translation of the New Testament. This is part of the continuing work of the ELCA's Truth in Healing Movement. Everyone is asked to wear red. If you would like additional information about this, please talk to members of the Reconciling in Christ Team - Betsy and Pete Liljeberg, Barbara Runk, David Leunig, Irene Albert, Pastor Jay, Kayla Hautz and Janet Gomez.
