News and Updates for Our Community of Faith

- Pastor Jay will be in the office Monday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and Wednesday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Pastor Jay is also available by phone and email - 570-205-7506 and j80j84@msn.com. 

- The Peninsula Pastoral Counseling Center is offering a Grief Support Group on Wednesdays starting October 29th from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at the Center. It will be held through Wednesday, December 10th. Deadline for registration is this Wednesday, October 22nd. More information can be found at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/otherevents/event/griefsupport2025/ or by contacting Ingrid Peterson. 

- The new adult study will continue on Wednesday, October 22nd - bring a sandwich for dinner and fellowship at 6:00 PM and the study will start at 6:30 PM. The topic of the study is How Lutherans Interpret the Bible with Mark Allan Powell.  

- The Oktoberfest celebration will be Friday, October 24th, starting at 5:30 PM. Come enjoy some delicious German food and fellowship!! The movie Luther will be shown at 7:00 PM. We hope you can join us!!

 - God's Work, Our Hands Day will be Saturday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided at 1:00 PM. 

- Sunday, October 26th, is Reformation Sunday - please wear something red!! 

- Sunday School for all ages will resume on Sunday, October 26th, after the worship service. 

- Finally, a big THANK YOU to Irene Albert for the delicious cake to welcome our new members yesterday.
