Seasons of Stewardship is a beautifully crafted theory. A theory that explores the four seasons of the year paired with the four Teams that make up our Church’s mission.

We Lutherans can renew our stewardship woes with water of our baptism, just as baby Theodore will discover once he is baptized. Baptism is a freely given gift that transforms us into people fit for God’s mission. What we do with this gift is of our own choosing, so why not choose to love the communities we have been called to serve by sharing the good news amongst ourselves and with our neighbors? Relationships thrive with communication that is grounded in love. Scripture teaches us that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Over the centuries, this mentality transformed into the belief that money itself is the root of all evil. Leaning into our baptism, we can unshackle ourselves from such harmful beliefs that we have given power over us. Fear and anxiety can be dispelled, and our conversations, very much like water, can flow between God’s people.

The methods created and developed here are meant to assist us in refocusing the lens through which you talk about our
congregation’s vitality concerning your time, talents, and treasure. For 2021 - 22, we will be using the 3 Month Model. Each Team will be given the opportunity to Present, Invite, and Celebrate the joys and needs of their given Season.
