Growing faith is a life-long journey that we at Apostles will take with our Youth. We have a whole network of faithful leaders who will accompany us on the way. With that said, we have a whole Synod's worth of resources to engage our Yorth.

Once we pass the first of the year, the leadership will reconvene to consider the possibility of summer events (Youth Assembly, Kairos, LAUNCH).

So here is the schedule as it stands now, with one addition you should note:
-Oct. 9, 2021 (Saturday morning) – Roanoke College Lutheran Visit Day (in-person at Roanoke College)
-Nov. 21, 2021 (Sunday afternoon) – online Youth rally day – singing, prayers, and other fun – local youth groups that have established a pod can gather together and join in as a group, or anyone can join in on their own.
-Jan. 21-23, 2022 (Friday evening to Sunday noon) – in-person Winter Celebration at Eagle Eyrie for 9th-12th graders and their adult congregational advisors, with an online option for anyone who cannot attend in person.
-March 4-6, 2022 (Friday evening to Sunday noon) – in-person Lost and Found at Eagle Eyrie for 7th-8th graders and their adult congregational advisors, with an online option for anyone who cannot attend in person.

One more note, regarding the 2022 Churchwide Youth Gathering: This is the event that was originally scheduled for June, 2021 and got postponed to July 24-28, 2022 in Minneapolis. As of this writing, this event is still going forward as scheduled and the leaders are maintaining close communication with public and venue officials in Minneapolis to determine what requirements or restrictions will be necessary. If your congregation is considering this event, I strongly encourage you to subscribe to updates at https://blogs.elca.org/youthgathering/. (A Safety and Security webinar is coming up soon on Sept. 8 and registration opens on Sept. 22). We would also love to be able to be well-represented at the MYLE and/or the-tAble pre-gatherings.
