News and Updates for Our Community of Faith

- Pastor Jay will be in the office Monday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Pastor Jay is also available by phone and email - 570-205-7506 and j80j84@msn.com. 

- Anyone willing to help clean up Heidi Henderson's yard are asked to meet at Heidi's house on 6658 Gloucester Street at 10:00 AM Monday morning. 

- Congregation Council will be meeting Monday night at 7:00 PM both in person and on Zoom - anyone is welcome to attend!!

- Preaching Guild will meet on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Apostles.

- The Virginia Synod Assembly will be held Friday-Sunday at Roanoke College in Salem. Please keep Pastor Jay and our delegates, Chris and Jennie Hawkins, in your prayers as they attend to the business of our Virginia Synod. Pastor Jay will be out of town from Friday-Sunday - if you need pastoral care during this time, please contact Janet Gomez at 804-693-5738, 757-869-8669 or at email  thezemogs@gmail.com. 

- World Hunger Sunday will be observed this coming Sunday with a special offering - please remember to bring your offering - UNTIL ALL ARE FED!!

- The mission team that went to Guatemala in April this year will be making a presentation about their trip Sunday, June 22nd, (not the 15th as originally noted), during the fellowship time. There will be special food - please make plans to join us!!
