News and Updates for Our Community of Faith

 

- PASTOR JAY will be in the office Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  Pastor Jay is also available by phone and email - 570-205-7506 and j80j84@msn.com. 

- THE WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM will meet Monday at 12:00 PM - anyone is welcome to attend.  

- THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY has been postponed for the time being - we hope to resume a study soon. 

- PREACHING GUILD will be held on Thursday at 12:30 PM.  

- GLOUCESTER YOUTH IN UNITY will have a Back to School Night on Friday, September 25th, from 6-8 PM at the Church of St. Therese on Main Street. All youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to come and bring a friend!! 

- ST. STEPHEN THEOLOGIAN IN RESIDENCE will be Saturday, September 26th, from 9:30 AM - 12 PM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. The theologian is Kimberly Knowle-Zeller, writer, pastor and author exploring faith, creation and everyday wonder. She will be speaking on “God of the Cosmos: How God Walks with Us in Our Everyday Lives.” If you would like additional information, please contact Janet Gomez. 

- OUTDOOR WORSHIP - SUNDAY!! Please join us for an outdoor worship service on Sunday at 10:00 AM. We will gather outside under the big oak tree for worship and then enjoy a picnic lunch afterwards in the fellowship hall. Come and enjoy God’s creation as we worship!! Bring a chair and a picnic dish to share!!

- OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY to George Thomas upon the death of his beloved wife, Jewel Thomas - we will let you know of funeral arrangements when they are made.
