News and Updates for Our Community of Faith

 

- Pastor Jay will be in the office Monday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and Wednesday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Pastor Jay is also available by phone and email - 570-205-7506 and j80j84@msn.com. 

- The Worship Ministry Team will be meeting Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend. 

- The adult study of How Lutherans Interpret the Bible will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM - please bring a sandwich for dinner and fellowship at 6:00 PM and the study will start at 6:30 PM. 

- Choir practice will be held on Wednesday, at 7:30 PM (after the adult Bible study). 

- Agape worship will be held on Christ the King Sunday, November 23rd, at 10:00 AM - please bring a brunch type dish to share. 

- The congregational meeting to approve the ministry spending plan for 2026 will be held after the Agape worship service on Sunday, November 23rd. All members of Apostles are requested to attend. 

- Sunday School for all ages will be held after the worship service on Sunday.

- Be sure and pick up a candle and the Thanksgiving prayers on Sunday for your Thanksgiving celebration - they will be available on the table in the narthex.
