News and Updates for Our Community of Faith

 

- Pastor Jay is back from vacation and will be in the office Monday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM - he is also available by phone and email - 570-205-7506 and j80j84@msn.com. 

- The Reconciling in Christ Team will be meeting Monday night, April 20th, at 7:00 PM on Zoom - anyone is welcome to attend - if you want the Zoom invitation, please contact Betsy Liljeberg. 

- The Worship Ministry Team will be meeting Wednesday, April 22nd, at 5:00 PM - anyone is welcome to attend. 

- The new adult study of "Understanding the New Testament" starts on Wednesday, April 22nd - bring a sandwich to eat at 6:00 PM and the study will start at 6:30 PM. We would LOVE for you to join us!!

- A church workday has been scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, starting at 9:00 AM - we will be working both inside and outside the church - please join us!!

- We will be celebrating the church's 45th anniversary on Sunday, April 26th - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY APOSTLES!!

- Finally, a big THANK YOU to Betsy Liljeberg for coordinating the offering of letters and to everyone who wrote a letter about the upcoming Farm Bill - Betsy reported that the letters will be taken by our ELCA representative in Washington to the different legislators.
