We Need Your Help!!

There several opportunities to help with the GUEST homeless shelter:

+ Apostles will be providing lunch for the clients of GUEST the week of January 18 –we will provide lunch on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of that week—if you would like to help, please contact Janet Gomez.

+ Apostles will be hosting the winter shelter the week of February 23rd—we will need people to volunteer for the various shifts and provide breakfast and dinner. Training is required for anyone who volunteers for night shelter—training will be held on Sunday, January 18th and February 8th from 12:00 PM –2:00 PM at Apostles.

+ Needed supplies at the shelter include: Ear plugs (for those sensitive to snoring or other nighttime noises), Febreze, Lysol wipes, Disinfectant spray, men’s undershirts (sizes Large–2XL), men’s long-sleeve shirts (sizes Large–2XL), men’s lounge pants (sizes Large–2XL) and men’s underwear (sizes Large & XL).
